Tractor-Trailer Takes Down Pole On Jersey Shore

A tractor-trailer took down a pole and wires in Marlboro, authorities said.

The crash on Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 30, closed Harbor Road between Route 79 and Tennent Road, Marlboro police said.

There were power outages reported in the area and JCP&L had been notified.

A detour will be in place shortly, police said at about 2 p.m.

Please avoid the area if possible, police said.
